COMMUNITY

All Service Refuse has a culture- a culture of generously supporting the community we serve.  The over 35,000 men and women of Republic Services view themselves as active members of the community and they welcome opportunities to strengthen local partnerships.

Republic Services directs the majority of its philanthropy to community outreach efforts where its facilities are located.  The Company supports community efforts that focus on education, the environment, and the health and welfare of the family with special emphasis on the safety of children.  The Corporate office has a Corporate giving program which supports local, state, and national organizations.

All Service Refuse accepts and evaluates funding requests on an ongoing basis.  Requests for funding related to Corporate operations should be directed to our Corporate Communications Department.  Proposals with a local focus should be directed to the management of our local division.

All Service Refuse Corporate office focuses its community investment program in four areas: health & well being, education, community, and the environment.  Meeting the needs of our community is important to our employees and therefore important to our Company.

HEALTH AND WELFARE

All Service Refuse and its employees are fortunate enough to be able to provide assistance to programs to benefit the less fortunate.  As a caring Company, we remain committed to investing time, leadership, and dollars in the communities where we live, work and play.

EDUCATION

All Service Refuse invests in schools and educational programs that provide students with learning experiences not only in the classroom, but also in extracurricular activities.  These programs often depend upon corporate and community sponsorship.

Environment

ENVIRONMENT

Republic Services supports the efforts of organizations that strive to protect and enhance the beauty of our environment and to find solutions for the efficient management of solid waste.

COMMUNITY

Civic organizations in the area are working to improve their communities by directly addressing issues of public concern through service, independent action, or civic engagement.  All Service Refuse and its employees support these groups with their volunteerism, donations, and in-kind services.
